MATERIALS
Plain Mill Aluminium with a Stucco Embossed finish is the Industry Standard for Standing Seam Systems, we use a 3000 series alloy [Euronorm Specification]. Plain mill aluminum has excellent weathering abilty and its lightweight alloy enable a lightweight roof construction. Over time the plain mill material will dull down from its original installation finish and will take a "dirty white/grey" finish after weathering down.
It is possible to supply a pre-wethered brush matt finish or even a 3000 series alloy sandwiched between 7000 series aluminum often refered to a cladded alloy. The end result of the appearance will be the same, however pre weathered will carry a cost premium. Expected lifetime does not change whichever is supplied.

Colorcoat® Lining Enamel
Colorcoat® lining enamel is the benchmark for the internal sheets of built-up and composite roof and wall cladding systems. The product has been specifically developed by Corus for steel liner trays and panels and is supplied in white to ensure light reflectivity in the internal environment. It provides an efficient and durable internal liner that should last the life of the building in normal controlled and unpolluted environments.

The Repertoire® Colour Consultancy can advise on colours and colour strategies using a range of standard shades, as well as discussing individual bespoke colour requirements. Confidex® Guarantee
The Confidex® Guarantee has evolved from the forty years experience Corus has in pre-finished steel development and manufacture. Currently only available with Colorcoat HPS200®, Colorcoat Celestia® and Colorcoat Prisma®, the Confidexâ guarantee is clear and simple to register and can easily be transferred if building ownership changes. This is not always the case with other manufacturers’ guarantees.

It addresses a growing interest in sustainability and climate change issues, and the increasing demand for sustainable construction products. Confidex SustainTM provides a combined guarantee which covers the performance of the Colorcoat® pre-finished steel product and makes the pre-finished steel building envelope CarbonNeutral. It also measures and offsets the unavoidable CO2 emissions of the pre-finished steel cladding system from cradle to grave i.e. manufacture through to installation, use and end of life and offsets the impact from the entire building envelope system rather than just one element. The offer is more than just offsetting, and aims to encourage the specification of the most sustainable pre-finished steel products and cladding systems. Available when Colorcoat HPS200® and/or Colorcoat Prisma® are specified as part of a Corus Colorcoat® assessed cladding system.
